The awards / recognition show season is winding down. Probably the season’s last major set of honors will be presented at Billboard’s 2006 Latin Music Awards. This years list of finalists feature the usual suspects: Juanes and Shakira who are joined by Daddy Yankee and Wisin & Yandel in the ‘Hot Latin Song Artist ‘ of the year category.
The list of finalists underscores the fact that Reggaeton is one of the fastest-growing music genres in the world, currently grabbing 25% of Billboard’s Top Latin Album charts.
The awards will telecast live on April 27th from Miami. You can see them on the Telemundo network.
