Latin Music TV Shows for June/July

With summer just around the corner, most of us are making plans to spend time in the great outdoors. But you have to come in sometime (or maybe its too hot to be outdoors - it sure is here!) and that's the time to turn to your television and check out the musical treats summer has to offer.

WLIW21 New York Public Television: June 10 (5 PM) The Puerto Ricans: Our American Story, will spotlight celebs/notables of Puerto Rican descent. On June 11 (1:30 PM) Daisy's Puerto Rican Celebration features Puerto Rican chef Daisy Martinez in a show honoring the National Puerto Rican Day Parade. The Mexican Americans will be on your set June 18th (8 PM) followed by Los Lonely Boys: Live at the Filmore at 9:30.

Univision: Premios Juventud, the Spanish-language award show where Hispanic youth honor their idols in music, film, fashion, sports and pop culture, will air July 13 (8 PM ET/PT). You can vote for your favorites at Univision (keyword: Premios Juventud). The same program will feature Mexican supergroup Mana, premiering their newest single "Labios Compartidos". You can also purchase tickets for the show (starting June 13th) through Ticketmaster.
