The New Menudo - International Talent Search

Menudo is the original boy band of the 1960s and 70s. Recording 35 albums, selling more than 40 million records and producing Latin music superstar Ricky Martin, Menudo still holds the record for selling out 13 consecutive performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Now the search is on for a new group of boys. Mvasion is the name of this new collaboration between Menudo Entertainment and their internet partner Yahoo!. The intent is to create a new, hipper Menudo sound, fueled by the internet's ability to promote music to the mainstream listening audience.

Menudo Entertainment will be conducting live auditions throughout the US and Latin America., with the first audition being held in New York City on October 14, 2006. The final contestants will be judged by a panel of celebrities with worldwide viewer voting.
