Short but Sweet - Bebe's 7 City Tour
Thursday June 15, 2006
Spanish artist Bebe has had quite a year, winning the Best New Artist award at the 2005 Latin Grammys, not to mention the success of her album Pafuera Telarans. There's nothing stale or hackneyed about that album, and I expect she will bring that same breath of fresh air to her live concerts.
Now, if you're geographically fortunate, you will have an opportunity to see this original, unusual, compelling artist in concert. Here's the schedule:
June 20 - Miami - Studio A
June 23 - Puerto Rico (TBA)
June 26 - New York - SOB's
June 29 - Chicago - House of Blues
July 2 - Denver - Gothic Theatre
July 5 - San Francisco - The Independent
July 8 - Los Angeles - Hollywood Bowl
The Hollywood Bowl concert will also feature Colombian rockers Arterciopelados, the Mexican Institute of Sound and Reyli. The San Francisco date also features Cape Verdean Sara Tavares.
