CD Review: Victor Manuelle - Decision Unanime

I was afraid that Victor Manuelle's Decision Unanime (Unanimous Decision) would get cheated - by the luck of the draw - when I listened to it right after Marc Anthony's Sigo Siendo Yo. I was wrong.

I listened to Marc Anthony's album with pleasure, but it was a little "ho hum" with nice, standard fare but nothing to bring a listener to their salsa dancing feet.

Decision Unanime is so much hotter, with sizzling numbers featuring Eddie Palmieri, Don Omar, Hector El Father, Yuridia and Yomo & Mickey. Each track on the CD has something great going for it, from arrangement, orchestration, or a surprise - such as reggaeton's Don Omar (who has a great singing voice - who knew?) singing the lyrical parts of "Nunca Habla Llorado Asi". A jewel for salsa lovers.
