Performers Added to Latin Grammy Program
Tuesday October 24, 2006
With just a little over a week to go before the Latin Grammy Awards next Thursday (Nov. 2), things are heating up as more stellar performers sign on to make the evening an unforgettable one - no matter who the winners may be.
Today, the Latin Recording Academy added Shakira, Juan Luis Guerra, RBD and Alejandro Sanz to the list of performers slated to appear next Thursday. They also announced two special segments: a "Jammin' Salute to Reggaeton" and a "New York Salsa Tribute".
The reggaeton segment will feature Hector "El Father" (or "El Bambino" - wish he or we would decide), Tonny Tun Tun and Ivy Queen. If that's not hot enough for you, the salsa segment features Willie Colon, Fania All-Stars, India, Ismael Miranda, Andy Montanez, Tito Nieves and Gilberto Santa Rosa.
