CD Review: Monchy Y Alexandra - Exitos Y Mas

Monchy & Alexandra's Exitos Y Mas won this year's Premio Lo Nuestro Award for "Best Album", while their "No Es Una Novela" took home "Best Song". Listening to the vocal enthusiasm of the audience in reaction to their victory, I thought I'd check out the album and see if I liked it as much as the audience.

These two young artists from the Dominican Republic have been performing romantic bachata together since their first album, Hoja En Blanco came out in 1999 and their popularity just grows and grows. The album comes in two flavors, just plain Exitos, with 15 of the duo's biggest hits and the dual disc Exitos y Mas that includes an additional DVD with 31 (count them!) cuts.

I don't know if I liked the album as much as that audience I mentioned, but I liked it a lot.
