LATV is the nation's first bilingual music/entertainment network. It's been live in Los Angeles since 2001, and now the network is expanding to include many key cities with large hispanic populations.
The "En Concierto" series is particularily interesting with prior appearances by Daddy Yankee, Pitbull, Paulina Rubio, Frankie J and Julieta Venegas. The artist perform "en vivo" and the audience members get a chance to get up and ask them questions after the performance. Here's the line-up of artists for the next few months:
April: Toby Love / Miz Mandy (25th), Akwid/Dave Rolas (27th), Allison (30th)
May: Pitbull (2nd), Frankie J (4th), Ozomatli (7th), Aterciopelados (9th), Zoe (16th), Calle 13 (23rd)
June: Motel (6th), Xtreme/Crooked Stilo (13th), Jennifer Pena/Kinto Sol (20th), The Pinker Tones (27th)
July: Sparta/Soul Kid (9th), Spigga/Fosforo (16th), Tres Coronas/Chino XL (23rd)
The network has already gone national adding Houston, Miami, Orlando and San Antonio to the roster; this month Las Vegas, Fresno, Tucson, Midland Odessa and Amarillo are coming on board. You can find all the available cities/stations at the LATV website.
