Conjunto Primavera's Algo De Mi was nominated for 'Best Norteno Album' at the Grammy awards this year and while El Amor Que Nunca Fue is standard fare for the group, I don't think it's quite as good as Algo. But still, it's good enough to spend an hour listening to this romantic/norteno group's newest.
By the way, at the beginning of February, there were news reports that Conjunto Primavera's bus had rolled off the road in Texas and I remember feeling a sense of dread wondering how serious it was and whether or not the group ever see their 30th anniversary next year. As it turns out, the band wasn't even on the bus and everyone else is okay now.
