Premio Lo Nuestro Nominees

A decade before the Latin Grammy Awards existed, Premio Lo Nuestro (Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards) was honoring the year's outstanding musical artists and performances. This year celebrates the 20th Edition of Univision's hugely popular music awards program which will be telecast live on Univision (of course!) Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008 at 8 PM (7 PM Central) from Miami's American Airlines Arena.

The winners will be determined by your votes. The voting has already started and you can cast your ballot at Univision's mini-Premio Lo Nuestro website. The website will also feature photos, bios and the latest news leading up to the big evening. There are no English voting instructions, but it's pretty intuitive for voters with just a minimum of Spanish.

By the way, as we move towards the holidays, no one is really releasing any notable music. This is probably because, commercially, it's perceived not to be a good time, although I like to think that even artists and record company executives want to spend some time in the bosom of their families.

So, for the next few weeks, I won't be publishing any new release information.
