Latin America has its share of problems but few are as poignant as the plight of its 32 million children living in poverty without adequate food, education or health facilities.

This week, ALAS (America Latina en Accion Solidaria) announced that they will be hosting 2 simultaneous concerts to garner support for these children. Scheduled to be held on May 17th in both Buenos Aires and Mexico City, the list of Latin music artists scheduled to appear is nothing short of stellar.

The list currently includes Alejandro Sanz, Aleks Syntek, Babasonicos, Calle 13, Chayanne, David Bisbal, Diego Torres, Fito Paez, Gustavo Cerati, Jorge Drexler, Juan Luis Guerra, Juanes, Los Tigres del Norte, Mana, Miguel Bose, Paulina Rubio, Ricardo Montaner, Ricky Martin, Shakira and Timbiriche.
