Sergio Mendes Summer 2008 Tour Schedule

Sergio Mendes took the music world by storm in the 1960s with his pop-tinged blend of bossa nova and jazz. His legendary status as one of the most popular Brazilian artists waned for awhile until he once again surprised everyone with his 2006 album Timeless - a mix of Brazilian rhythms fused with hip hop and soul and produced in collaboration with will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas.

In June, his new album Encanto is due out and now you have a chance to see Mendes live as he starts a tour to promote his new album, again co-produced with will.i.am.
