2008 Latin Alternative Music Conference

You might think that if you are not planning on becoming a star in the fascinating cutting-edge genre of Latin alternative music, there's no reason to attend a Latin Alternative Music Conference. But if you're someone who enjoys rock-en-espagnol, electronica and hybrid musical innovation, then this is exactly the event to attend.

If you sign-up for the conference itself, you'll have a chance to mingle with the movers and shakers in the field and hear some original and unexpected music in the bargain.

If not, there are 2 free concerts that might well be worth the trip in themselves. The first is on Friday, July 11th and will feature Brazilian Girls, Miranda! and Ticklah. The following night's event will give you the opportunity to hear Julieta Venegas, Plastilina Mosh and DJ Bitman. For Latin alternative music fans, that's quite the line-up!
