MTV Tr3s - Latin Music Videos On TV

I've been writing about all the many Latin music events that you'll be able to attend this summer, but thought I might address those fans that are housebound. Whether you have commitments, health issues or just really enjoy being a couch potato, you can still spend quality time with your favorite artists via the magic of television.

There was a time when MTV was devoted exclusively to 'western' music, but since then it's expanded to include an international audience. Latinos worldwide can get their daily dose of top hits with MTV Latin America, MTV Brazil and MTV Spain.

Here in the U.S. MTV Tr3s is one of your viewing options. The programming is in Spanglish - that is, a mixture of English and Spanish. The target audience is young adults, so you can expect lots of urban genres like reggaeton, hip-hop and R&B along with pop and rock. If you're not already watching these music videos, all you need is cable or satellite in order to lean back, open a bag of your favorite treats and ride the musical wave. Oh - you also need to be in the right parts of the country, so check your local listings for MTV Tr3s.
