Daddy Yankee To Perform at 2008 Republican National Convention
Last month Daddy Yankee (Ramon Ayala) endorsed John McCain for President, saying: "I am here endorsing Senator McCain because I believe in his ideals and his proposals to lead this nation." He went on to add that McCain was the 'best fighter for immigration issues.'
Well, politics aside, I would love to be a fly on the wall and watch Daddy Yankee perform "Gasolina" in front of an audience of 3000 Republican conventioneers. Not surprisingly, the buzz on the net is that McCain thinks the reggaeton artist's most famous song "Gasolina" is about gasoline (rather than about sex) and supports the senator's call for more offshore drilling.
Hmm, McCain must have advisors that have clued him in to the truth - but you never know.
What do you think? Take the poll and let us know.
POLL:
Do you believe that Sen. McCain thinks Daddy Yankee's "Gasolina" is about gasoline?
