Andres Calamaro played a major role in the development of Latin Rock music during the 1980s and 1990s. During this time, he became famous as the lead singer for the Argentinian band Los Abuelos de la Nada. Later on, he joined the Spanish band Los Rodriguez before moving into a solo career.
