The nominees to the 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards have been announced. This year, the popular Urban/Hip-Hop group Calle 13 topped the list of finalists with 10 nominations in three genres including the Urban, Alternative, and Tropical field. Calle 13 received all these nominations thanks to their popular album Entren Los Que Quieran.
Besides Calle 13, the second floor of the list is quiet even and there is not any artist with numerous nominations. Following Calle 13, legendary Latin music stars Franco De Vita and Marco Antonio Solis gathered five and four nominations respectively. Popular artists like Shakira, Mana, Ricky Martin, and Los Tigres del Norte are also up for awards thanks to the popularity of their latest albums.
The countdown has officially started. This year's Latin Grammy Awards are set for November 10, and the Spanish-language network Univision will air the ceremony live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for one of the hottest nights in Latin music!
