According to NBC Latino, Latin Alternative music sensation Gaby Moreno is one of the five Latinos to follow in 2012. The Guatemalan artist is the only Latin music star that is part of this list, which also includes Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls, actor Jorge Garcia, the talented 6th grader Thomas Suarez and the Director of public health policy in the Office of Health Reform Mayra Alvarez.
On her website, Gaby Moreno said she was thrilled for being included on this list. The singer gained lots of exposure last year thanks to her hit album Illustrated Songs, one of the best Latin music albums of 2011.
