Latin Music Artists Mourn Whitney Houston

The Latin music world has also felt the tragic loss of Whitney Houston. The news regarding the death of the Queen of Pop prompted different reactions from some of the most famous Latin music stars in the world including artists like Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan and Marc Anthony.

On her Twitter page, Latin Pop singer Enrique Iglesias, who had the opportunity to work alongside Whitney Houston in the past, said that "working with her is an experience that I will cherish forever". Ricky Martin also used his Twitter channel to express his condolences to the family and friends of the famous artist.

Gloria Estefan and Marc Anthony were visibly moved by the loss of Whitney Houston. "Whitney was always so sweet to me! Was rooting for her through her struggles! Such a shame...I'm truly saddened by this news!," said Gloria Estefan on her Twitter account.

On his Facebook page, Salsa and Latin Pop star Marc Anthony expressed the shock he felt after hearing the news: "I am in utter shock over the loss of my friend and colleague Whitney Houston. We should all feel blessed to have experienced the voice of an angel". At the bottom of his message, he added, "Gone way too soon".

Whitney Houston was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hill in Los Angeles. The entire music world is mourning the death of one of the most beloved artists of the last three decades whose amazing voice inspired millions of people around the world. R.I.P.
