JUANES MTV Unplugged, the latest album released by the Latin music superstar has debuted at the number one spot on the Billboard Latin Albums chart. This is the fourth time that the Latin Pop artist has been able to place an album on top of the chart. This work has also reached the number one position in several countries throughout Latin America.
In Colombia, JUANES MTV Unplugged has broken the record as the album with the strongest first week of sales. Similarly, the DVD of the performance has become the best-selling music DVD of all time in Juanes's home country. Thanks to these achievements, the new album is already certified 12 x Platinum in Colombia.
Now that Juanes has released his anticipated unplugged project, the Colombian singer is about to embark in a series of concerts and events. This coming weekend, Juanes will perform at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas, during the celebration of the H20 Festival. Additional shows in the US include one preformance at Citi Field in New York (July 14) and two shows at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (Aug. 17 and 18).
