This coming Sunday, we will have the chance to see Latin music superstar Ricky Martin as we have never seen him before. The popular Puerto Rican artist and the cast from the musical Evita, one of the most popular musical revivals of 2012, will take the stage on this year's edition of the Tony Awards.
Since its debut, Evita has been acclaimed by critics. In fact, this box-office breaking production has been nominated for Best Revival Of A Musical. If you do not want to miss this anticipated performance by Ricky Martin*, you can see the live broadcast of the Tony Awards this Sunday on CBS at 8:00 PM ET (7:00 CT).
*Clarification on Ricky Martin's role in Evita: Ricky Martin does not portrait 'Che' Guevara in Evita. He plays an 'everyman' (in Argentina 'che' means 'guy') serving as the voice of the people. Using Che Guevara as inspiration for the role was a choice made by director Hal Prince when staging the first production in the late 1970s.Related Content:
