Tr3s Introduces Regional Mexican Music Show 'Remexa'

This week, the bilingual/bicultural MTV channel Tr3s has debuted a new video-driven show featuring the best of Mexican Music. The name of the new show, which acknowledges the popularity of Regional Mexican music as the number one Latin music genre in US charts, is Remexa.

Fans of music styles like Norteno, Banda, Tejano, Ranchera and Corrido will have the opportunity to watch everyday a 30-minute show introducing both well established artists as well as rising stars of the Mexican music scene. Some of the artists that will be featured on the show include the popular band Los Tigres del Norte, Espinoza Paz, Banda El Recodo, Gerardo Ortiz and Jenni Rivera, among many more.

The new show is definitely a good opportunity for all of those who want to explore Regional Mexican music further. Video rotation for Remexa, which is presented by the channel's new host Jazmin, is at 11:00 AM PT (2:00 PM EST) Monday through Friday on Tr3s.
