After reviewing this year's best Latin music compilations and top Latin songs, it is time to take a look at the most popular and best Latin music albums of 2012. This selection features all kinds of Latin music genres and music styles such as Latin Pop, Urban, Regional Mexican and Tropical music.
I know I am leaving out of this list some of this year's most popular works including albums like Carla Morrison's Dejenme Llorar, Alejandro San'z La Musica No Se Toca or the collaboration work Eba Say Aja, featuring Cheo Feliciano and Ruben Blades. In spite of this imperfection, I believe this selection embodies in a good way the rich diversity that defined Latin music in 2012. The following are my top 20 Latin music albums of 2012.
