This year is going to be a busy one for Latin music superstar Juanes. His upcoming Loud & Unplugged tour is already one of the most anticipated Latin music tours of 2013. Before fully embarking on it, however, the Colombian singer will be performing at two special Grammy Week events next month: MusiCares and Grammy in the Schools Live!

As far as MusiCares goes, Juanes has joined an outstanding artist lineup to honor legendary Rock singer Bruce Springsteen as this year's MusiCares person of the year. This tribute, which is one of the most prestigious events of the Grammy Week celebration, will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday, February 8.

On Wednesday, February 6, two days before the MusiCares gala, Juanes will be performing at the University of Southern California on behalf of the Grammy in the Schools program. This event, which is organized by The Grammy in the Schools Foundation, will provide students with the opportunity to get closer to one of the most influential Latin music stars in the world while reinforcing its own mission of creating opportunities for high school students to work with music professionals.

Besides all this, Juanes is also competing this year for a trophy at the upcoming Grammy Awards. The deluxe version of his hit album JUANES MTV Unplugged, one of the best Latin music albums of 2012, is nominated for the Best Latin Pop Album award. We will see if Juanes can take home that prestigious trophy. The Grammy Awards are set for February 10 at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
