This week, Latin music superstar Alejandro Sanz is celebrating one of the biggest awards of his life. The famous Latin Pop singer was honored as The Best Spanish Artist of The 21st Century during the seventh edition of the 40 Principales Awards. Besides this trophy, the Spanish artist also took home the awards for Best Video and Best Album thanks to his latest work La Musica No Se Toca.

Alejandro Sanz received his award in a ceremony that was full of stars including top artists like Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift and Pitbull. It was exactly Alejandro Sanz the person who gave Alicia Keys her award for Best American Singer and Composer of The Last Decade. Similarly, the gorgeous Taylor Swift took home the award for Best International Artist while the popular Cuban-American rapper was honored with the Most Influential Latin Artist and Producer Award.

All in all, the 40 Principales Awards are definitely growing as one of the most interesting music events in the Latin music industry and beyond. Other than that, I think the award that Alejandro Sanz received at the ceremony pays a well-deserved tribute to one of the most successful careers in Latin music.
