This week, the popular Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and producer Draco Rosa has hit the Latin music market with Vida, a compilation album inspired by the artist's desire to celebrate life after winning his own personal battle against cancer. The new production, which includes outstanding duets with some of the biggest Latin music stars in the world, has made its debut as the number one Latin album on iTunes.
As one of this year's most anticipated works, it is easy to understand such a remarkable debut. However, the good news is that Vida goes far beyond its own expectations. With its mature sound and elegant arrangements, Draco Rosa has delivered an album that is set to be one of this year's best Latin music works.
Besides the musical quality that surrounds this Latin Pop album, the artists who were invited to this production have created a solid base for the overall success of it. Apart from the already popular hit "Mas Y Mas," featuring Ricky Martin, some of my favorite tracks include "Esto Es Vida," alongside Juan Luis Guerra and "Como Me Acuerdo," an outstanding duet featuring Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz.
All things considered, Draco Rosa has delivered a very pleasant album. I am sure people will join this celebration of life.
