With eight trophies each, Latin Urban superstar Don Omar and Bachata sensation Prince Royce were the biggest winners of the 2012 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Much of the success Don Omar enjoyed during the night was the result of his worldwide hit song "Danza Kuduro". Likewise, thanks to the popularity of his debut album Prince Royce, the Bachata singer was able to capture his numerous awards.
Besides these artists other Latin music stars including Shakira, Mana, Wisin y Yandel, Gerardo Ortiz and Cristian Castro also collected different trophies throughout the night. The following is the complete list of winners of this year's edition of the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
