Some of the best Latin music albums of 2012 were hit compilations. Whether it was a duets-themed project, a remastered work or an unplugged production, the following albums are this year's best compilations in Latin music. Let's take a look at them.

'Enamorada De Ti' - Selena

The legendary Selena, the Queen of Tejano Music, came back to life this year with a posthumous compilation album that includes some of her most popular hits. Besides this, Enamorada De Ti features duets with artists such as Christian Castro, Don Omar and Selena Gomez. This compilation provides a nice variety of sounds from various Latin music genres such as Ranchera, Bolero, Cumbia, Latin Pop and Merengue.

'Playlist: The Very Best of Ricky Martin' - Ricky Martin

Although this year Ricky Martin was mostly focused on his Broadway musical Evita, the Puerto Rican superstar hit the Latin music market with a nice compilation of some of his most enduring hits. Playlist: The Very Best of Ricky Martin features 15 tracks including classics like "Maria" and "Livin' La Vida Loca" as well as contemporary hits from his album Musica + Alma + Sexo such as "Shine" and "The Best Thing About Me Is You," featuring Joss Stone.

'Viva Duets' - Tony Bennett

We all know Tony Bennett does not belong to the Latin music world. However, his 2012 duets-themed project has a decisive Latin flavor thanks to the duets it features with artists like Juan Luis Guerra, Romeo Santos, Marc Anthony and Vicente Fernandez, just to mention a few. 'Exiliados En La Bahia: Lo Mejor De Mana' - Mana

'JUANES MTV Unplugged' - Juanes

With is high quaity sound, solid arrangements and talented musicians, JUANES MTV Unplugged is also one of the best compilations of this year. Besides classic hits such as "A Dios Le Pido," "La Camisa Negra" and "Fijate Bien", this fantastic compilation also includes the newly popular tracks "La Señal" and "Azul Sabina."
