1. 'Una Navidad Con Gilberto' - Gilberto Santa Rosa
If you're a fan of Gilberto Santa Rosa, then you already know that his style of Christmas music will be hot and danceable.
2. 'Navidad Colombiana - Para Cantar Y Bailar La Novena De Aguinaldos'
The aguinaldo is traditional folk Christmas music. Originating in Puerto Rico, it's gained a popular foothold in a number of South American countries. This two-disc set contains 28 aguinaldos from Colombia performed by various artists and could easily be one of my favorite Christmas albums.
3. 'Navidades Luis Miguel' - Luis Miguel
The popular Luis Miguel gives us an album of Christmas music that is a compilation of standard Christmas fare, but sung in Spanish.
4. 'Christmas Spirit' - Los Lonely Boys
Add a little Texas flavor to your Christmas! Los Lonely Boys have a Christmas album that mixes the traditional with their own brand of rock.
5. 'Navidad A Ritmo De Bachata'
6. 'Una Navidad A Mi Estilo' - Victor Manuelle
Puerto Rican salsero Victor Manuelle does Christmas his way in this new seasonal album.
7. 'Feliz Navidad' - Jose Feliciano
Jose Feliciano first recorded this popular Christmas album in 1973 and you can still get the original, although the CD was remastered in 2002 and is also available. The album contains Feliciano's classic version of "Feliz Navidad."
8. 'Navidad En Las Americas'
This album has a little bit of everything from Ricky Martin singing "Que Hermoso Nino" (What Child is This) and Celia Cruz crooning "Arbolito" to Jose Feliciano singing "Noche de Paz" (Silent Night). The big finale is worth the wait: "La Virgen Lava Panales" performed by Placido Domingo.
9. 'Asi Es Nuestra Navidad' - Gilberto Santa Rosa & El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico
For salsa fans, it's tough to come up with a better album than this pairing of El Gran Combo and Gilberto Santa Rosa. In fact, the album is so good that I play it all year round.
