11. Gilberto Gil

He may be Brazil's Minister of Culture, but Gilberto Gil been at the forefront of Brazilian popular music for decades. Here are dates for Gil fans.

  • Jun. 24: New York, NY - Nokia Theatre Times Square
  • Jun. 29: Hollywood, CA - Hollywood Bowl (with Devendra Banhart)
  • Jun. 30: San Diego, CA - 4th and B

12. Marco Antonio Solis

Mexico's Marco Antonio Solis is having quite a spring, winning the ASCAP award as songwriter of the year.
  • Jun 27: San Diego, CA - San Diego State University
  • Jun 28: Anaheim, CA - Honda Center

13. Los Super Reyes / AKWID

Since the split up of the original Los Kumbia Kings, there have been name changes for both of the competing bands created by Kumbia King band members. For this concert, Cruz Martinez' group is billed as Los Super Reyes Kumbia Kings - for this concert only? Also sharing the stage is AKWID.

14. Intocable / Los Horoscopos

A double-bill for California norteno fans.

15. Eddie Palmieri

One night only for Dr. Palmieri, the master pianist of tropical rhythm.

16. Babasonicos

If you're ready for a little Latin rock, Argentina's Babasonicos is bound to have you rocking-out.
