Latin Music Concerts for October 2007

1. Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony

The first joint concert tour for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony is also the first ever for J-Lo. There are a lot of cities and dates, so there should be an opportunity to see these two superstars in a city near you.

2. Ricky Martin

The first leg of Ricky Martin's Black and White Tour was a huge success earlier this year. Now those who missed it - or those who can't get enough - have a second chance as Martin reprises the concert tour one more time.

3. Mana

Back by popular demand, Mana hits the road again - much to delight of fans everywhere. This looks like the last month for the Amar Es Combatir Tour, so check out the dates.

4. Daddy Yankee

October is Daddy Yankee's second (and final) month of the Big Boss World Tour so if you love reggaeton, go see your Daddy!

5. Vicente Fernandez

Vicente Fernandez will be on the road promoting his new album, Para Siempre. The album contains 12 songs written by the 'people's poet' Joan Sebastian. Fernandez is playing 7 dates, back to back, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA; it's difficult to think of anyone but the 'King of ranchera' being able to fill a large venue that many nights in a row.

6. RBD

Rebelde's ever-popular teenagers (aren't they looking a little too old for highschool) continue with their Celestial Tour this month. RBD will be bringing pop joy from Texas to California in October.

7. Pepe Aguilar, Joan Sebastian, Jenni Rivera

Here's a stellar list of Mexican artists performing in different combinations. Hopefully, the combination you prefer will be coming to an arena near you.

8. Marco Antonio Solis

Grammy winner Marco Antonio Solis spends most of his time composing and producing music. The Mexican pop singer will be performing only one concert in October, but it's a big one.

9. Albita y Milly

Talk about a powerhouse duo! Albita is Cuban son songstress extraordinaire Albita Rodriguez; Milly is 'queen of merengue' Milly Quezada. Both are dynamic performers, so you'll get a feast for the eyes and ears.

10. Conjunto Primavera

If you like Mexican norteno music, then you're probably already a fan of the prolific Conjunto Primavera. If you like the music but haven't seen the group in person, this is your chance.

11. La Kalle Block Party Concert 2007

Reggaeton / Hip Hop fans in New York will get the chance to see some of their favorites: Daddy Yankee, RKM y Ken-y, Tego Calderon, Calle 13 and Ivy Queen are some of the big name acts scheduled to appear.

12. Musica Fresca 2007

This year's Music Fresca concert will feature Orishas, Pitbull and Calle 13. Orisha's album Antidiotico was one of the hip hop highlights of the year.
