April starts with All Fools Day, and you would have to be foolish to miss the great concerts available to Latin Music fans this month. From Luis Miguel to Juan Gabriel with special one time only concerts by Juanes and Gilberto Santa Rosa.

You just need to be in the right place at the right time. Hope luck's with you this month!

1. Juanes "Colombia WIthout Mines" Concert

May 24, Gibson Amphitheatre, Universal City Walk, Los Angeles, CA

Juanes' May concert Colombia Sin Menas benefits the people (especially the children) maimed by anti-personnel landmines scattered across Colombia.

The concert features an all-star cast: Alejandro Sanz, Ana Gabriel, Carlos Vives, Laura Pausini and more!

2. Sabado De Gloria: All-Star Salute To The Giants of Latin Jazz

April, 15, Paradise Theater, Bronx, NY

"Sabado de Gloria" is another name for the Saturday before Easter, and Latin America celebrates the Holy week with displays and parades. It seems only fitting that this concert is a parade of great names in Latin jazz: Dave Valentin, Hilton Ruiz, Giovanni Hidalgo, Papo Vazquez, Randy Brecker, Sherman Irby, John Benitez...the list goes on.

With only a 320 seat auditorium, better get those tickets early.

3. Juan Gabriel

With six Grammy nominations and 30 million in record sales, Juan Gabriel is one of Mexico's alltime great singer/songwriters. That's probably why all the venues look like they host football games.

4. Gilberto Santa Rosa

If you love salsa, this is a show not to be missed. Tickets are pricey but going fast. Don't wait if you want to hear some of the best salsa on the planet. If the price is daunting, skip lunch this month.

5. Luis Miguel

Mexican pop-rock RBD is an amazing success story, starting with their rise to fame via the TV telenovela Rebelde. With their current CD, Nuestro Amor hot on the charts, they're sure to bring in a large crowd. Why not go and see what the fuss is about?

7. Willy Chirino

  • April 30, Mi Son Cubano Festival, Queen Mary Events Park, Long Beach, CA

Bongo's Cuban Cafe might be a more intimate place to hear Cuban music with Miami-based Willy Chirino, but the Mi Son Cuban Festival is is an all day concert, perfect for the entire famiy (and affordable for the entire family). Some of the great Cuban acts performing there include Charanga Cubana, Orquesta Tobaco Y Ron and Chalo y Su Aches.

8. Jaguares

  • April 19, Verizon Wiresless Theater, Houston, TX
Mexican rockers Jaguares keep surprising us with their music and their incredibly devoted fan base. If you're in Houston and like rock, this is the place to be.

9. Benise

Spanish nuevo flamenco guitarists takes his music and "Nights of Fire" dancers on the road.
