2009 Premios Juventud Winners

There are many Latin Music Awards presented each year; Univision's Premios Juventud (Youth Awards) is aimed at the popular youth market with the voting done online at the Univision website. And while it's common to have one record or artist leading the pack of nominations, this year has set a new record.

Puerto Rico's pop superstar Luis Fonsi received an unsurprising 13 big nods for his critically acclaimed Palabras del Silencio, the most nominations any one artist has received in the history of the show. He also broke records as he took home 10 out of the 13 possible awards.

I'm only presenting the winners in music here, but Premios Juventud also features voting in other fields: Sports, Cinema, Fashion & Image and Pop culture.
