See all of the Billboard Latin Music Award results.

1. Hot Latin SOTY - "Te Quiero" (Flex)

Panama's Flex was the big winner at the 2009 Billboard Latin Music Awards. And I mean BIG! Besides 'Hot Latin Song", Flex and "Te Quiero" also claimed the awards for 'Hot Latin Song - Male,' 'Hot Latin Song - New,''Tropical Song - Male,' and 'Latin Rhythm Airplay Song - Solo,'

Flex' album Te Quiero was also the 'Latin Rhythm Album of the Year' and 'Top Latin Album of the Year.'

2. Hot Latin SOTY, Vocal Event - "Un Buen Perdedor" (K-Paz,Franco De Vita)

Venezuela's Franco De Vita had recorded "Un Buen Perdedor" as a solo; in 2007 he got together with Duraguense's K-Paz de la Sierra to remake the track in quite a different style.

3. Hot Latin SOTY, Female - "Dime" (Ivy Queen)

"Dime" was the big hit on Ivy Queen's Ivy Queen 2008 World Tour Live! album. The track also received the award for 'Tropical Song of the Year - Female' category.

4. Hot Latin SOTY, Duo/Group - "Si No Te Hubieras Ido" (Mana)

Ah, Mana. Mexico's top pop/rock group can do no wrong these past few years with 2 big albums: Amar Es Combatir and Arde El Cielo. The single "Si No Te Hubieras Ido" also won the award for 'Latin Pop Airplay Song of the Year - Duo/Group.'

Their Arde El Cielo album also took honors as the 'Latin Rock/Alternative Album of the Year.'

5. Latin Pop Airplay SOTY, Male - "Donde Estan Corazon" (Enrique Iglesias)

If anyone came close to Flex in popularity last year, it was Enrique Iglesias who was also the 'Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year.' 95/08 was the 'Top Latin Album of the Year - Male' which is pretty amazing for what is basically a 'Best of' album.

6. Latin Pop Airplay SOTY, Female - "Cinco Minutos" (Gloria Trevi)

2007's Una Rosa Blu was Gloria Trevi's second album since her release from a Mexican jail in 2004. The album's "Cinco Minutos" reached #4 on the charts, the best showing of a Trevi single to date.

7. Tropical Airplay SOTY, Duo/Group - "El Perdedor" (Aventura)

Aventura took home 4 awards, including 'Top Album of the Year, Duo/Group' and 'Tropical Album of the Year, Duo/Group.' Isn't it time for a new album by the popular Bronx bachata band?

8. Regional Mexican Airplay SOTY, Male - "Para Siempre" (Vicente Fernandez)

Sometimes it seems that its impossible to have a Latin music awards show without a win by ranchera idol Vicente Fernandez. This year is no exception, but after watching and listening to "Para Siempre" the reason for Fernandez' success is very clear.

9. Regional Mexican Airplay SOTY, Female - "Culpable O Inocente" (Jenni Rivera)

Banda's popularity has continued to rise and so is the popularity of Jenni Rivera. So it's no wonder that "Culpable O Inocente" from the album Jenni has been embraced by such a wide audience. The album itself took top honors as the 'Top Latin Album' delivered by a female artist.

10. Regional Mexican Airplay SOTY, Duo/Group - "Hasta El Dia De Hoy" (Los Dareyes)

Banda fans also loved norteno band Los Dareyes De La Sierra's "Hasta El Dia De Hoy" from the 2008 album Con Banda.
