Here are my picks of interestig new releases for this week.
2. Cafe Tacuba - SiNo
Classic Latin rock group Cafe Tacuba is back with an innovative album full of different sounds and influences. This is their first album since 2003's Cuatro Caminos and, given the early reviews, looks like it finds Cafe Tacuba in fine form. By the way, Cafe Tacuba may be coming your way as they embark on a November tour.3. Victor, Victor - La Escencia de la Bachata
Bachata lovers can spend some time in the tropics with Dominican Victor Victor.4. Tito Rojas - Sin Comentarios
Puerto Rican Tito Rojas is back with more of his trademark traditional salsa.5. Daddy Yankee - Daddy Yankee Live! (DVD)
What could be better for reggaeton lovers than a Daddy Yankee CD? Well, Daddy Yankee Live! The DVD is not really live (did I really need to say that?) but you can watch as well as listen to the "Big Boss" say what he has to say.6. Lilian Garcia - Quiero Vivir!
This album caught my interest because it is so unusual. Lilan Garcia is the World Wrestling Federation ring announcer. Most of her singing experience is karaoke and singing "The Star Spangled Banner". (To be fair, there was a single "You Don't Know Me At All" released on a WWE Entertainment Anthology album.)Can she sing? I haven't a clue. But I have the feeling it might be fun to find out.
