Here are the notable new releases for this week.

1. Yuridia - Entre Mariposas

Mexican pop singer Yuridia's new album Entre Mariposas is full of new songs either written by her or specifically for her - a first for both the singer and her fans.

2. Vico C - Babilla

Pioneer reggaeton rapper Vico C delivers his new album, Babilla this week. This is his first studio album since 2005's Desahogo; 2006's El Encuentro was filmed live at a concert in Puerto Rico.

3. Sin Bandera - Hasta Ahora

It looks like Hasta Ahora may be the last album by the pop duo of Mexican Leonel Garcia and Argentinean Noel Schajris. They've just announced that they are splitting up with plans to persue a solo career.

Mexican pop/rock singer Alejandra Guzman drops Fuerza on her fans this week. Often the center of controversy, Guzman has been quiet for awhile, focusing on the new album.

Mexico's Tierra Cali was slow to gain a foothold on the music scene, but their last album, Enamorado de Ti, with it's hit single by the same name, brought them a new round of fans and a slot onthe top ten. Look for Alegria Calentana to solidify their popularity.

7. Los Tigres del Norte - 25 Joyas

It looks like Los Tigres del Norte are about to deliver 25 more jewels to add to their already boutiful collection of corridos.

8. Tito Nieves - Tito Nieves en Vivo

Perrential favorite salsero Tito Nieves recorded this album live in Medallin, Colombia, one of the most appreciative salsa audiences in the world. There's also a DVD of the concert, for those that want all their senses involved in the experience.
