Latin Pop superstar Shakira has had one of the best years of her life in 2011. Besides getting a star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a prestigious award from Harvard University, and a exclusive spot to lead the Commission on Educational Excellence for Hispanics, The Latin Recording Academy honored the Colombian artist with the prestigious Latin Grammy Person of the Year Award.
